ArumBlog’s current static build is intentionally designed to work without child accounts, public comments, child-facing email forms, advertising scripts, or server-side progress tracking.
Local progress badges
The optional Curiosity Trail stores a small list of unlocked badge identifiers in the visitor’s own browser using local storage. In this build, that information is not transmitted to ArumBlog.
External video links
When YouTube videos are added, a visitor may choose to open or play them. YouTube has its own privacy practices and may apply special rules to content designated as made for kids.
Before future changes
Analytics, advertising, personalization, contests, newsletters, forms, accounts, or other data collection should be reviewed for child-privacy compliance before deployment. This starter text should be replaced by a final legal privacy policy before a data-collecting feature is launched.
